2008 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP

The 2008 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP was an endurance racing car built by Peugeot Sport in partnership with Total and Michelin. The car was introduced in 2007 as a response to the increasing popularity of endurance racing and was Peugeot’s first Le Mans prototype. The car used a 3.7 litre turbocharged diesel engine, which was the first diesel engine to be used in a top-level prototype racing car. The car was also the first to feature a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS). The 908 HDi FAP proved to be a very successful car, winning multiple races and setting several records.
