Introduction
The 2015 SCG 003 Competizione, designed by Jim Glickenhaus and built by Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, is a two-seater, mid-engined sports car. It was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and is the first production car from the SCG brand. Design
The SCG 003 Competizione is a mid-engined sports car with a sleek and sporty design. The bodywork is constructed out of carbon fibre and composite materials, giving it a lightweight and aerodynamic shape. The car features a long hood, with a low, wide stance and a wide, aggressive front grille. The headlights are flush-mounted and the sides feature deep air intakes, while the rear is dominated by a large wing and a diffuser.
Interior
The interior of the SCG 003 Competizione is designed for both comfort and performance. The cabin is fitted with two Recaro racing seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a digital instrument cluster. The car is equipped with an array of modern features, such as a 10-speaker audio system, climate control, and a 7-inch touchscreen display. The center console houses the shift switch and the manual transmission’s gear lever.
Performance
The SCG 003 Competizione is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 550 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, which sends power to the rear wheels. The car has a top speed of 205 mph and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds. The race-spec version of the SCG 003 Competizione is designed to compete in the GT3 and GTE classes of international endurance racing. The race-spec version also features a revised suspension setup and uprated brakes.

The SCG 003 Competizione is available in both road-legal and race-spec configurations. The road-legal version starts at $400,000, while the race-spec version is priced at $1.4 million.
