2009 Audi R8 LMS

The 2009 Audi R8 LMS is a race car developed by Audi Sport for the Le Mans Series. It is based on the road-going Audi R8 and was built to compete in the GT3 class. The car was first unveiled in October 2008 and was first raced in the 2009 Le Mans Series season.

The car features a modified version of the standard R8’s 4.2-litre V8 engine. This engine has been tuned to produce 450 horsepower and is mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox. The car is capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 187 mph.
