The 1998 De Tomaso Guara Spider is a rare Italian sports car designed by Alejandro de Tomaso and developed by the Italian firm, Ghia. It was first unveiled in 1992, and production started in 1993. The Guara Spider was based on the De Tomaso Longchamp, a grand tourer which was developed in the late 1970s. It was designed to compete with the likes of the Ferrari 348, Lamborghini Diablo and other popular Italian sports cars. The Guara Spider featured a 2.0 liter, V6 engine which produced up to 220 horsepower and could reach a top speed of 155 mph (249 km/h).
